Clean Slate is a high-performance hair-care brand with products people genuinely want and the demand to match. They partnered with us to turn that demand into repeatable, scalable growth. We took on the full funnel across the storefront, creative, paid media, landing pages, and retention. Over 8 months we grew revenue 5X, doubled subscribers, and lifted ROAS by 50%.
The challenge
Hair care is a hard sell to a cold audience. People have been burned by products that overpromised, so trust has to be earned before the first purchase and kept after it. Clean Slate had the product and the proof to earn it. What they needed was the system around it: a way to reach new people at scale, win over the skeptical ones, and turn a first order into a subscription habit.
Our approach
- Website, development, and SEO. We designed and built the storefront and laid the SEO groundwork, giving the brand a fast, search-visible home to grow into.
- Creative and graphic design. Hair care sells on proof, so we produced a steady run of UGC, before-and-after, and video that showed the product actually working. That gave paid a deep bench to test.
- Paid media. We reached past the warm audience and into cold traffic, tuned for profit at every spend level so scale never came at the cost of margin.
- Landing pages and CRO. We rebuilt the pages around the strongest ads and the objections a first-time buyer actually has, and conversion climbed across the funnel.
- Email and retention. Replenishment and upsell flows brought customers back on cycle, which is how a first order became a subscription and doubled the base.
